David Chipman of HNPEA Presented with $4,874 Check
On Monday, August 24, during a Brunswick Rotary Club meeting, David Chipman, head of the Harpswell Neck Physical Education Association (HNPEA), was presented with a check for $4,874.
The donation was made possible through a successful Rotary District Grant submitted by Brunswick Rotary Club President Carolyn Bulliner. The grant will help fund several important improvements, including lifting the current building, installing a new foundation, adding new doors and windows, relocating a jungle gym, placing proper ground mulch, and replacing a large swing set.
The project is expected to begin this fall and will help ensure the day camp can continue next summer.
