Claudia Frost earns her sixth Paul Harris Fellow award. 
Local Brunswick Rotary Club member, Claudia Frost, was recognized recently for earning her sixth Paul Harris Fellow Award, the most of any member in the club.
This represents donations to The Rotary Foundation of over $6,000. The financial donations were made not only by Ms. Frost, but many contributions were made in her name, primarily by other Rotary Clubs. Ms. Frost’s achievement was recognized at the weekly meeting of The Brunswick Rotary Club (via Zoom) on Monday, September 21. Her contributions to Rotary are numerous.
Ms. Frost has twice served as the President of the Brunswick Rotary Club, and she is currently the District 7780 Governor-Elect in addition to serving on several District Committees. She was instrumental in setting up a Rotary Global Grant for Lonnie Hackett’s Healthy Kids/Brighter Future organization, and for naming Lonnie as a Rotary Scholar to help defray some of his educational expenses. She was instrumental in establishing and coordinating several of the local club’s fundraising activities to support community projects including the popular Mid-Coast Maine’s Got Talent local talent show and the ever popular 0.5K Fun Run. In addition, Ms. Frost worked on community programs including Reading Friends and the Rotary Club’s assistance in providing food distribution for Mid-Coast Hunger Prevention. If fund-raising and fun-raising are involved in a Brunswick Rotary Club project, Claudia’s fingerprints are on it.
At this time, she is now working on a Global Grant for Kenya, where she visited representing Rotary several years ago.
Claudia Frost’s donation of time, talents and funds demonstrate the difference one Rotarian can make and serves as an example for all Rotarians.

Rotary started with the vision of one man — Paul Harris.
After setting up his law practice in Chicago, Harris gathered several business associates to discuss the idea of forming an organization for local professionals. He envisioned a place where professionals of diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships.
At the 1917 convention, outgoing Rotary President Arch Klumph proposed setting up an endowment “for the purpose of doing good in the world.” That one idea, and an initial contribution of $26.50, set in motion a powerful force that has transformed millions of lives around the globe, The Rotary Foundation.
