About the Rotary Club of Brunswick Cornhole Tournament:

This event is a fun way to raise money for our community.  This is an all-volunteer event put on by the Rotary Club of Brunswick with help from the Brunswick Coastal Rotary Club, the Interact clubs at Brunswick High School & Mount Ararat High School, the Rotaract Club at Bowdoin College and other volunteers.  All proceeds support the Brunswick Rotary Community Fund, which enables scholarships, events and projects in our community and around the world.

Your donation will entitle you or your team a chance to participate in the tournament.  Winners will receive everlasting glory in the Brunswick Rotary Cornhole Hall of Fame!

When is it?

Join us starting at 9:30am on Saturday, July 1st 2023, for the FREE Games on the Mall.  At the Games, we will have a "Tosser Challenge" set u for the chance to win a Golden Ticket, which entitles the holder to participate in the Cornhole Tournament for Free

The Rotary Club of Brunswick's 1st Annual Corn Hole Tournament will begin immediately following the Games.

What is Cornhole?

Cornhole is a game in which two teams try to throw bean bags through a hole in a board. The team that gets more bags through the hole wins.  As the tournament, each team can have up to three active tossers.  Teams can have a larger roster if they want to, i.e. 3 active tossers and two reserve tossers in case of injury or nerves.  For unsponsored teams, each tosser registers as an individual.  For sponsored teams the team captain registers the whole team.

Ways to Participate:

$10 Individual Registration (if tossing for an unsponsored team or no team):

A $10 donation entitles you to participate in the open rounds of the tournament for a chance to win a spot in the Round of 32.  If you are not already on a team you will be assigned to a team.

$100 Sponsored Team Registration (if signing up a team):

A $100 donation to reserve a seed for your team in the round of 32.

Your team may elect to participate in open rounds of the tournament or take advantage of your guaranteed seed for a better chance to win it all.

Any person or organization (family, church, sports team, school, business, etc.) can be a team sponsor.

Note:  There are a maximum of 31 sponsored team seeds available (we need to leave at least one Round of 31 seed open for unsponsored teams to compete for in the open rounds.

BEFORE you give us your money please read this! Once you make a donation, the money goes into our Community Fund and goes to work making our community and world a better place. All Tickets are NONREFUNDABLE because all the money in our Community Fund is used for 501(c)(3) charitable purposes, often as soon as received. Thank you for your generosity!

But don't worry!  If you register but plans change, your donation will still go to good use in our community and around the world and your registration won't go to waste.  For sponsored teams that are “no shows” on Saturday, July 1, we will auction off the seed in the Round of 32 as a Wild Card. Any teams that are at the tournament that didn’t make it to the Round of 32 can bid for a Wild Card seed, if any are available.
