The Brunswick Rotary Club is donating 100 pencil boxes filled with school supplies, enough to provide one for each incoming Kindergarten, 1st-grade, and 2nd-grade student at the new Kate Furbish Elementary School.
The Brunswick Rotary Club has sponsored this service project for many years under the able direction of Patty Biggs, Chair of our Service Committee.
Typically, Patty secures the pencil boxes and the list of needed supplies, and club members take boxes so they can fill them with the needed supplies. This year, Patty purchased all supplies and filled the 100 boxes herself, and she will deliver them Friday morning to be handed out the first day of in-student classes.
